WHAT WAS DONNY?

Donny the Lizard was introduced by an anonymous /s4s/ user in 2016 who hoped to create “the next Pepe.” The community was invited to meme Donny into popularity. While he didn’t reach Pepe’s status, Donny remains a small cult favorite among meme archivists.
